Champion Energy offers a text messaging service that allows you to receive account information on your mobile device. Please see the Text Messaging Terms and Conditions below for full details, including possible fees associated with text messaging.

Currently, text messaging is only available to subscribers with United States phone numbers.

Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

By opting in for Champion Energy’s text messaging service, you agree to the Terms and Conditions for Champion Energy as well as our Privacy Policy. You also agree to the following as it pertains to specific usage of the text messaging service:

Usage

You acknowledge that text messages are distributed via third-party mobile network providers and therefore Champion Energy cannot control certain factors relating to message delivery. You acknowledge that, depending on your mobile provider service, it may not be possible to transmit the text message to you successfully.

Champion Energy does not claim or guarantee availability or performance of this service, including liability for transmission delays or message failures.

Account Status Notification Service

Champion Energy’s account status notification service will send you account updates and reminders via text message. U.S. supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Alltel, Boost Mobile, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile. Minor carriers: Alaska Communications Systems (ACS), Appalachian Wireless (EKN), Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular One of East Central IL (ECIT), Cellular One of Northeast Pennsylvania, Cincinnati Bell Wireless, Cricket, Coral Wireless (Mobi PCS), COX, Cross, Element Mobile (Flat Wireless), Epic Touch (Elkhart Telephone), GCI, Golden State, Hawkeye (Chat Mobility), Hawkeye (NW Missouri), Illinois Valley Cellular, Inland Cellular, iWireless (Iowa Wireless), Keystone Wireless (Immix Wireless/PC Man), Mosaic (Consolidated or CTC Telecom), Nex-Tech Wireless, NTelos, Panhandle Communications, Pioneer, Plateau (Texas RSA 3 Ltd), Revol, RINA, Simmetry (TMP Corporation), Thumb Cellular, Union Wireless, United Wireless, Viaero Wireless, and West Central (WCC or 5 Star Wireless.

Standard messaging and data rates may apply. Messaging frequency varies based on customer preferences.

Opt-in: You may opt in to Champion Energy’s account status notification text messaging by providing your mobile number and consent to receive text messaging during the online enrollment process.

Opt-out: You may opt out of Champion Energy’s account status notification text messaging by calling us at 877.653.5090 and notifying a Champion Energy customer care representative that you would like to opt out of the account status notification text messaging.

Furthermore, your mobile device will be automatically removed from Champion Energy’s account status notification text messaging on the due date of your final invoice.

Text Messaging Preferences

The number and frequency of text messages that you receive will vary based on the preferences you have selected. Champion Energy will not send you any text messages that you did not agree to receive.

Fees

Champion Energy does not charge a fee for text messaging service. While we do not charge for this service, we are not responsible for any charges from a person's service provider that may result from our providing this service. It is the user's responsibility to check with their individual carrier, as standard messaging and data rates may apply. Champion Energy assumes no responsibility for charges incurred by signing up for this text messaging service. Any text messaging fees that you incur will be billed on your individual mobile provider bill.
